What is Ozone? Ozone (03) is an energized form of oxygen (02). Ozone is a naturally occurring component of fresh air. It is produced either by the ultraviolet rays of the sun reacting with the Earth’s upper atmosphere (which creates the protective ozone layer) or through an electrical discharge, such as lightning.
